Overview
Internet Content Providers, including those offering political and religious content are automatically class licensed under the Broadcasting (Class Licence) Notification of the Broadcasting Act 1994, and are subject to the Class Licence Conditions. Providers of political and religious content over the Internet are required to register with IMDA within 14 days of commencing their services, or as otherwise notified by IMDA.
Who is this for?
- Individuals determined by IMDA to be engaging in providing any programme in and/or from Singapore for the propagation, promotion or discussion of political or religious issues relating to Singapore on the World Wide Web through the Internet.
- Groups, Organisations and Corporations engaged in providing any programme in and/or from Singapore for the propagation, promotion or discussion of political or religious issues relating to Singapore on the World Wide Web through the Internet.
Fees
No fee is required.
