The Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) invite the public to provide feedback on the draft Postal Services (Amendment) Bill.
The Postal Services Act (“PSA”) is the legislative framework that governs the regulation of Singapore’s postal sector. The postal landscape has evolved since the last revision to the PSA in 2007, and there have been market shifts such as the growth in e-commerce deliveries. It is therefore timely for MCI, together with IMDA, to ensure that the legislative framework for postal systems and services provided for in the PSA remain relevant and appropriate in the current environment.
