Introduction
Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) will be launching a series of Technology Calls (Tech Calls) to invite interested industry players to submit proposals to deploy 5G trials. These Tech Calls will assess and validate the performance and capabilities of 5G in various verticals.
For the first phase of the Tech Calls, it will be a joint-collaboration effort between IMDA and PSA Corporation Limited (PSA) to test and assess the capabilities of 5G for ports.
Objectives
The objectives of this Tech Call is to work with key industry partners to catalyse the development of 5G through identified use cases, understand the technical capabilities and performance of the emerging 5G technology in a live environment and infrastructure needed for future roll outs.
Submission Details
Application starts 22 March 2019 and closes on 15 May 2019, 2359 hrs.
Tech Call Briefing
The Tech Call briefing (which includes a site visit) will be held on 22 March 2019 (closing date for registration is 15 March 2019, 2359 hrs).
Please note that only shortlisted participants will be able to attend the briefing session and seats are limited. Please send your details together with the required information as indicated in the Tech Call document to Tech@imda.gov.sg for registration.
