Xiaofei Xie is an Assistant Professor in School of Computing and Information Systems at the Singapore Management University. His current research mainly focuses on program analysis, software testing, vulnerability detection and quality assurance of AI systems.
He was a recipient of the three ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Awards in FSE’16, ASE’19, and ISSTA’22.
Previously, he was a postdoc at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.

Wan Ting is an AI and data leader with 15+ years of experience spanning fintech, mobile advertising, insurance and biotech.
She is currently leading a team of data scientists and ML engineers focused on innovating and delivering end-to-end scalable data products through MLOps services that translates to business impact.
Wan Ting is passionate in embedding responsible AI within development.
Puspita Majumdar
Manager Data Scientist AI Garage, Mastercard
Puspita manages a variety of use cases and develops AI-based solutions to address them. In addition, she also leads the Responsible AI initiatives within AI Garage, focusing on designing algorithms for fair machine learning model training, debiasing input data, and ensuring the safety of large language models (LLMs) by detecting and mitigating bias.
Prior to joining Mastercard, she completed her Ph.D. from IIIT-Delhi, India. Her research interest includes Trustworthy AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Bias and Fairness in AI Systems.
She was awarded the DST INSPIRE Ph.D. fellowship to pursue her research work. She has more than 20 publications in reputed journals and conferences including PR, IEEE T-BIOM, AAAI, and ICIP. She is a recipient of the prestigious President Gold Medal for outstanding Academic Performance in M-Tech.
Yang Deng
Assistant Professor, SMU
Yang Deng is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems at Singapore Management University. Prior to that, he was a Research Fellow at National University of Singapore, and obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests lie in natural language processing and information retrieval, with a special focus on conversational and interactive systems. He actively publishes papers at top-tier venues (including ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, SIGIR, WWW, etc) and serves as the Area Chairs of ACL/EMNLP/NAACL/COLING. He has organized multiple tutorials with the topic of advanced technologies at leading conferences, including ACL 2023, WWW 2024, and SIGIR 2024. He received the Google Southeast Asia Research Awards in 2024.
