Public Consultation on Draft Postal Services Regulations

02 May 2008

IDA's Decision
IDA's Explanatory Memorandum on the Postal Services Regulations (81.32KB)
Postal Services Regulations (42.98KB)

09 May 2007

With the Government's decision to liberalise the Basic Mail Services market and the relevant amendments to the Postal Services Act, there is a need to amend the Postal Services Regulations to take into account these decisions. The amendments to the Postal Services Regulations will have impact on the operations of the postal licensees and the users of the postal systems.

IDA would like to seek the views and comments from the industry and members of the public on whether the draft Regulations suitably meet the policy intents as set out in this Consultation. This will allow IDA to have a better understanding of the issues and the different needs and requirements of the different interested parties.
