Revised Proposed Model Confidentiality Agreement (MCA) - Issued on 10 November 2000
Pursuant to Section 5.3.3 of the Telecom Competition Code, SingTel is required to submit a revised proposed Model Confidentiality Agreement incorporating the modifications required by IDA. SingTel had submitted its revised proposed MCA on 10 November 2000.

IDA will issue its decision on whether to approve the MCA or direct SingTel to incorporate specific language to the MCA within 7 days from 10 November 2000.
Erratum - Modification to the Proposed Model Confidentiality Agreement (MCA) - Issued on 4 November 2000
Please be informed that the form of the MCA posted earlier inadvertently omitted two provisions (namely clauses 8 and 9) and is therefore incorrect. The rationale in respect of the omitted provisions are, however, as stated in our published document, MCA-Rationale for Changes, explaining the changes required by IDA. The following is the correct form of the MCA that IDA requires SingTel to adopt as its MCA pursuant to Section 5.3.3 of the Telecom Competition Code.

SingTel will have 7 days from today to submit its revised MCA, conforming to the attached form of the MCA, to IDA for approval.
Modifications to the Proposed Model Confidentiality Agreement - Issued On 2 November 2000
Following the industry consultation on Singapore Telecommunications Limited's ("SingTel") proposed MCA, the IDA acting in accordance with section 5.3.3 of the Telecom Competition Code, has required SingTel to modify particular provisions of its MCA. The first document ("MCA - Rationale for Changes") outlines the rationale for the modifications, whilst the second document ("MCA - Modified") outlines the significant modifications made by the IDA.
SingTel, pursuant to Section 5.3.3 of the Telecom Competition Code, will have 7 days from 2 November 2000 to submit to IDA a revised proposed MCA that incorporates the modifications required by IDA.
