IDA has completed its audit on SingTel's proposed charges for Connection Services at Submarine Cable Landing Stations. On 8 October 2002, IDA directed SingTel to incorporate the amendments to the Proposed Schedule 9 as specified in the Direction. The amendments shall take effect immediately. The form for the Request for Prices (FBO) has also been updated to incorporate the amendments to Schedule 9.

IDA has directed SingTel to incorporate specific drafting amendments to the revised Proposed Schedule 4B. The approved amendments to SingTel's RIO comes into effect immediately.

On 26 July 2002, IDA directed SingTel to submit a revised Proposed Connection Services Schedule 4B. SingTel submitted its revised Proposed Connection Services Schedule 4B on 2 August 2002.

IDA's Decision on Singtel Request for Review of Direction
IDA has reviewed SingTel's request to reconsider certain amendments that IDA has required SingTel to make to the proposed Schedule 4B in its Direction issued on 24 June 2002. On 26 July 2002, IDA directed SingTel to revise Schedule 4B accordingly and to submit the revised schedule to IDA for approval within 7 days from the date of the direction.

IDA's Direction to Singtel to Submit Revised Proposed Amendments to Singtel's RIO to Offer Connection Services
IDA has reviewed the proposed amendments to the SingTel's RIO to offer to provide Connection Services at Submarine Cable Landing Stations (Connection Services Schedule 4B). In the review, IDA also carefully considered the comments received from the public consultation. On 24 June 2002, IDA directed SingTel to revise the Connection Services Schedule 4B and to submit the revised schedule to IDA for approval within 15 days from the date of the direction.
All views and comments should be submitted in writing and in both hard and soft copy (Microsoft Word format), and should reach the IDA on or before 5.00pm, 4 June 2002. Respondents are required to include their personal/company particulars as well as the correspondence address in their submissions to the above Consultation Paper.
