IDA has issued its decision on the Long Form Consolidation Application for the Acquisition of OpenNet Pte Ltd.

In the interest of achieving a balanced and objective assessment, IDA invited the Applicants to comment on the issues raised in the respondents' submission to IDA's Public Consultation on the proposed Consolidation. Post-Consolidation Entity Monitoring Board
The Post-Consolidation Entity (PCE) Monitoring Board has been established by IDA to monitor the activities of the PCE, to ensure that the PCE is compliant with its Control and Ownership restrictions, as required by its Facilities-Based Operations Licence.

Public Consultation on the Long Form Consolidation Application for the Acquisition of OpenNet Pte Ltd
In view of requests from the industry for more time to submit their comments, IDA will extend the closing date for the public consultation on the Long Form Consolidation Application for the Acquisition of OpenNet Pte Ltd till 25 September 2013, 12 noon.

IDA would like to seek the views and comments from the industry and members of the public on the Long Form Consolidation Application submitted by OpenNet Pte Ltd, NetLink Trust, CityNet Infrastructure Management Pte Ltd and Singapore Telecommunications Ltd.
All views and comments should be submitted in writing and sent to IDA by fax or in soft copy. Submissions should reach IDA before 12 noon, 18 September 2013. Commenting parties are required to include their personal or company particulars, correspondence address, contact number and email address in their submissions.
