The LEARN Bootcamps help passionate Infocomm Media Club (IMC) members develop a deeper appreciation of technology and media and enrich their learning through industry-backed holiday programmes.

Unity Game Development Bootcamp (Secondary School/Junior College)
The Unity Game Development Bootcamp is a week-long programme where secondary school and junior college students experience Unity, a versatile game engine that many mobile games are built on. Students will learn how to use the Unity game engine, acquire coding skills in C# for Unity, and pick up game design fundamentals and philosophy. As a final project, students will use the Unity platform to customise their own game.
- When: 18 to 21 June 2024, 8:30am to 5pm
- Where: St. Patrick’s School, 490 East Coast Rd, Singapore 429058
- Requirements: Windows PCs will be provided at the bootcamp. Students can bring their own Windows PC or macOS devices. Note that iPads and Chromebooks are not supported.
- Note: Meals are not provided. Students are encouraged to bring packed meals or purchase meals from the vicinity of St. Patrick’s School.

Goldman Sachs AI Illuminator Coding Workshop (Secondary School)
The Goldman Sachs AI Illuminator Coding Workshop will teach secondary school students basic Python and artificial intelligence (AI) concepts using Raspberry Pi microcontrollers and Telegram bots. Students will get hands-on experience through programming microcontrollers integrated with sensors and LEDs and using bots to create a sustainability project.
Students will also get to interact with Goldman Sachs professionals and gain insights on how technology is used in the financial industry.
- When: 30 to 31 May 2024, 9am to 3pm
- Where: Goldman Sachs office, Mapletree Anson, 60 Anson Rd, 14F MP1-2, Singapore 079914
- Requirements: A Google or Gmail account is required. Windows PCs and hardware will be provided at the workshop. Students do not need to bring any hardware.
- Note: Lunches are provided on both days.

UBtech AI Robotics Bootcamp (Primary School)
The UBTECH AI Robotics Bootcamp is a four day programme that reinforces students’ coding skills by incorporating image recognition, sorting algorithms, and hands-on robot engineering projects. The course will offer the following:
Explore cutting-edge robots: Students will get the unique opportunity to understand the fundamentals of AI and robotics and explore the realms of AI with state-of-the-art AI-enhanced robots, pushing the boundaries of what they can create.
Develop skills for the future: Students will learn how to bring robots to life through interactive block coding exercises, enabling them to solve a variety of real-world challenges. The bootcamp is packed with exciting activities that utilise advanced image and sound recognition technologies, along with the practical application of algorithms.
Get hands-on engineering experience: Students can get their hands on various mimicry robots and dive deep into the mechanics of AI functionalities. The programme also covers essential programming concepts like functions, variables, and sensor integration, which are crucial for any budding robotics engineer.
Foster teamwork and innovation: Students will learn with hands-on experience and engage in group projects that inspire teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. This collaborative environment will enable young learners to experiment and thrive.
Earn a certification: Upon completion of the bootcamp, students will earn a certificate of achievement that showcases their new skills and supports their DSA applications, providing an edge in their educational journey.

- Requirements: Students need to bring their own Windows/Mac PC.

LEARN Accelerators
The LEARN Accelerators deepen IMC members’ learning and understanding of technology and media through intensive training programmes where students solve real-life challenges by developing practical tech solutions. Conducted by leading tech experts, these holistic programmes take place over weekends and school holidays for a period of six to 10 months.

AWS Data Science Accelerator (Secondary School/Junior College)
The AWS Data Science Accelerator Programme helps secondary school and junior college students acquire deep Data Science skills by designing and building solutions to solve real-world problem statements. Students will be taught machine learning and deep learning skills to design and build their own AI solutions. They can also use these machine learning skills to race autonomous cars in a fun Deep Racer and acquire industry knowledge from AWS’ Cloud Practitioner Essentials course.
- When: March 2024 to November 2024
- Commitment: 110 hours

Swift Accelerator (Secondary School/Junior College)
The Swift Accelerator is an 8-month intensive talent development programme for secondary school and junior college students interested in app development. Students learn to code in Swift and apply storytelling and design thinking principles to design, build, and release their own iOS app.

- Commitment: 180 hours
